Derbyshire Friend have set up a weekly session on employment and legal rights in conjunction with Chesterfield Law Centre and Nottingham Law Centre. These sessions will enable us to support you around issues such as:

  • Employment law relating to sexuality and gender
  • Assistance in removing barriers caused by discrimination around the provision of goods and services from service providers such as schools, hospitals, councils, shops, etc
  • Support around hate crime and harassment directed at yourself, friends or family in relation to disability, age, sex, sexuality, gender, race, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belief

These sessions are starting on Wednesday between 1.30pm and 4.30pm at Derbyshire Friend, 2-3 Friary Street, Derby.
