Drop In

Derbyshire Friend’s dedicated drop in sessions are very flexible. You are welcome to come and go during the sessions. You may just want to pop in for a cup of tea and read the gay press. You may just want to unwind and have a chat with anyone else who is around. You may want to have a look at our library of books and DVDs and perhaps borrow something. You can also access the internet from here for free at those times.

These sessions are open to anyone with an interest in gay, lesbian, bi sexual and transgender issues. You do not need to  be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual  or Transgender yourself. You might be questioning or just interested. The sessions are also open to friends, families or  carers.

Staff will be around to point you in the right direction for support if required. There are also trained support staff who can offer you the opportunity to discuss any issues and offer advice or information in a confidential space away from the main meeting rooms.

The Derbyshire Friend Centre (2/3 Friairy Street, Derby) is open for Support, Drop-in and Internet Cafe:
Monday to Friday  09:30 – 13:30
