Derby LGB&T Network was formed in response to the growing need in Derby to meet and represent the needs of LGB&T people, groups and organisations. Our needs are not being fully identified, met or supported. Invisibility, poor support and lack of recognition of the needs of LGB&T people in Derby as led to discrimination, inequality and at times harm. The network was felt by several LGB&T groups, businesses and individuals as the best way to present a strong and recognisable voice.

Derby LGB&T Network is open to individuals, community groups, organisations and businesses together in order ‘to gain a stronger voice that raises the profile and provides solutions to the issues and needs of our LGB&T community’.

The network meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6.30pm until 8pm at St. Peter’s House, Gower Street, Derby.

If you have any specific issues that you wish to discuss outside of the meeting, there is an individual surgery from 6pm to 6.30pm for you to be able to speak in confidence.
