Derbyshire Friend is working together with Age UK Derby in order to host Reach Out Plus – a social support group for gay and bisexual over the age of 50.

This group aims to provide a safe and friendly space for gay and bisexual men over 50 to meet, make friends and take part in fun activities and outings. The groups also aims to reduce isolation for those gay and bisexual men who may not feel comfortable attending Reach Out – our Thursday evening group for men aged 18 and over.

For this reason, Reach Out Plus meets weekly in the daytime (Wednesday afternoons from 1pm ’til 2.30pm) at an easily accessible city centre location close to Derby Bus Station.

At the request of the group’s members and in order to protect their confidentiality, we do not publish the location of this group.
